You can book structured 3-hour sessions throughout the holidays, so you’re guaranteed entry, and unlimited ride wristbands means you know exactly what you’re budgeting!

Another good option for Easter fun is the Big Kid Circus (6.7 miles away) which comes to town for performances at Glasgow Fort from 1st to 12th April. It’s a family circus show featuring fun acts and entertainment, great for younger children. This year’s theme is JURASSIC, featuring state-of-the-art dinosaurs towering over the crowds. You can buy tickets here.

On 5th April you can join the Hunt for the Easter Bunny at the Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre (2.4 miles away) in Glasgow’s West End. Enjoy a themed Easter egg hunt and there’s also lots of fun craft activities for kids.

The Big Feed x Golf It! Easter weekend takes place from Thursday April 2nd to Sunday April 5th with its third annual Easter Scavenger Hunt around Hogganfield Loch (4.6 miles away). Can you find all the wee beasties? There’s also street food, live music, face painting, balloon twister, and free kids' movies. Of course, there’s plenty of golf to be played too!

Great for families with older children and teens, The Night Market – Easter Special returns to Cottiers in Glasgow’s West End (2.5 miles away) for a seasonal celebration of local creativity on 2nd April.

Bringing together independent makers, artisan food and drink producers and live music under one roof, visitors can browse a curated mix of handcrafted goods and unique gifts while soaking up a lively, festival-style atmosphere. Beginning early evening, it’s the perfect way to shop small, support local businesses and enjoy a relaxed Easter outing with friends and family.

For those who love to learn, Glasgow Science Centre (2 miles away) has a Spring into Science Easter Programme from early April, which promises to be fun and informative. There’s a jam-packed Easter-themed programme of activity with an Easter Bunny trail, egg-drop and other STEM challenges, planetarium shows, special science shows and seasonal activities perfect for school holidays.

Seeing a film on the big IMAX screen can be a real treat for all the family too. The Science Centre will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit in the IMAX on the 18th and 19th of April. A Minecraft Movie will also be showing from 4th April.  Ideal for a rainy day!

Creative kids will love the Children’s Discover Sessions at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum (1.2 miles away), which offers lots of drop-in, hands-on family activities.

Other museums which may be likely to run special Easter events include the Riverside Museum (2.2 miles away), which covers transport and local history, the Gallery of Modern Art (3 miles away), and the Tall Ship Glenlee maritime museum (2.5 miles away).

There’s a reason Glasgow is said to mean “Dear Green Place”.

The city is a brilliant place to enjoy the outdoors if weather allows, with plenty of green space to picnic, play and explore. Pack a blanket and some snacks for a family picnic in Pollok Country Park, Scotland’s largest city park, where you can wander woodland trails, spot Highland cows or enjoy the gardens. Queen’s Park offers fantastic views over the city along with open lawns for ball games and space to run around. Glasgow Green, the city’s oldest park, has riverside paths perfect for scooting or cycling and plenty of room for kite-flying.

Alternatively, head to Kelvingrove Park to feed the ducks, explore the play areas, and enjoy the riverside walks, or take a nature stroll along the River Clyde. You’re spoilt for choice!
